SOPHOMORE ALBUM AND SINGLE ANNOUNCED FOR JEALOUS MONK
New Orleans, LA - I Love, I Hustle, the new album by New Orleans progressive hiphop group Jealous Monk will be released to the public on Tuesday, June 22nd. Featuring the highly anticipated first single Heatwave, the album is going to be available for sale online through ITunes in addition to JealousMonkMusic.com.
Jealous Monks type of synth-heavy indie hip hop is a New Orleans favorite since the bands inception in 2005. Twice voted Best Reputation Act by Where at Magazine, this rock band has changed a significant following in the past both nationally along with locally. His or her newest project, I Love, I Hustle reflects the rich and diverse musical culture of brand new Orleans applying the standout single Heatwave - a 60's -inspired gangster rap song detailed with live horn and string accompaniments. "Heatwave" might be released May 28th.
Anchored by most of New Orleans brightest young talents, the audience is made up of standout DJ/MC/Producer Jermaine Quiz and longtime freestyle heavyweight Intelligence.
